Hi! I’m Annpaca (an-pa-ka) or “Ann” for short.
I’m a self-taught Illustrator from Indonesia, South East Asia.
My area of specialty is human and humanoid.I like to explore more about mythology, fantasy, and character design. I aspire to be a book illustrator and/or a character designer.Currently I’m a freelance Artist/Illustrator. I take personal use commission, commercial use commissions, and project-based freelance work. Merchandise Illustration Commission
#SaveSmallHands Project
#SaveSmallHands is a collaborative campaign project to stand against illegal child labor and slavery in tobacco industry. This project was initiated by Emancipate Indonesia, Lentera Anak Foundation, and Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA).
I was commissioned to make two kind of illustrations, a children illustration and an abstract or pattern illustration.
The client entrusted me to chose the color palette and to come up with creative illustrations that represents childhood.
So I chose vibrant earth tone palette to make it look playful like childhood. The context of the illustrations are children’s small hands, traditional games, and tobacco leaves – referencing from children who work to harvest and deliver tobacco leaves with unfair wage and unsafe environment.
We successfully worked on this project and released the merchandise for the event.
